Don Toliver is officially in album mode. The Houston artist has revealed the full tracklist for his upcoming fifth studio album, OCTANE, which is set to arrive tomorrow, January 30.
Toliver shared the news directly with fans by posting a short video on Instagram that showcased the tracklist in a stylized and creative way. The clip quickly caught attention online, with song titles such as “Body,” “Secondhand,” “Breakup,” and others flashing across the screen. He captioned the post, “Octane To The Vein,” a line that seems to sum up the high-energy tone he is aiming for on the project.
One detail that immediately stood out was the absence of featured artists. No guest appearances were listed, which sparked mixed reactions across social media. While some fans expressed disappointment, many others were impressed by the rollout itself. Comment sections quickly filled with hype, with users calling it one of the most creative tracklist reveals they have seen and predicting album-of-the-year potential.
OCTANE serves as the follow-up to Toliver’s 2024 release, HARDSTONE PSYCHO. The new album was first announced earlier this month alongside a cinematic black-and-white trailer, setting a darker and more dramatic mood for this next era. Fans can already pre-save the album on Spotify and other streaming platforms. Physical copies, including vinyl and CDs, along with merch bundles, are also available for pre-order through Toliver’s official website.
The tracklist reveal arrives shortly after Toliver’s appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he premiered two new songs, “E85” and “Long Way To Calabasas.” The performance added even more momentum to the rollout and gave listeners a taste of the sound he is bringing into OCTANE.
Toliver has previously spoken about his excitement for this chapter in his career. In a past interview, he described his next album and future plans as something he is genuinely looking forward to, hinting at a fun and ambitious phase ahead.
At the moment, no tour has been announced in support of OCTANE. However, Toliver is confirmed to headline Rolling Loud Orlando this May. The festival will run from May 8 to May 10 at Camping World Stadium and will feature a stacked lineup that includes Playboi Carti, NBA YoungBoy, Pooh Shiesty, Chief Keef, and more.
With the album dropping imminently and hype at an all-time high, OCTANE is shaping up to be one of Don Toliver’s most closely watched releases yet.
