The way she talked about it has already sent the internet into full spiral mode. She didn’t just casually drop the announcement — she went full vulnerability mode, telling fans it’s her favourite track on her upcoming album, and more than that, one of the best songs she’s ever written in her entire career. That’s a massive statement from someone who gave us drivers license and good 4 u.
For music fans, this matters a lot. Rodrigo isn’t the type to oversell herself. She’s been one of the most consistent voices of Gen Z pop since she exploded onto the scene, and when she says a song is that special — you listen.
